YANAVICO Expediciones de Naturaleza is a specialist tour operator based in Jujuy, Northwest Argentina (RNAV 18.304 – Res. 872/23). We design and lead high-quality, tailor-made experiences focused on the exploration, observation, interpretation, and photography of Argentina’s unique nature and biodiversity. The name YANAVICO derives from the local term for the Puna Ibis (Plegadis ridgwayi), a distinctive yet uncommon species of high Andean wetlands.
We offer one-day excursions and multi-day expeditions for nature enthusiasts, from casual travelers to experienced birders, photographers, and naturalists. Our experiences mainly focus on birding, wildlife observation, natural landscapes, and stargazing, across some of Argentina’s most remarkable ecosystems.
