CALILEGUA NP, ECO-PORTAL DE PIEDRA & YALA PP – Birding Tour 7D/6N

Full-birding tour comprising two awesome forest ecosystems of Argentina’s northwest in an efficient and productive itinerary. Starting in the eastern valleys, the itinerary rapidly descends to the Calilegua National Park entrance to visit its nice web of footpaths by the lush cloudforest. It climbs the steep and forested slopes of the pre-Andean hills to later descend towards the flat dry Chaco woodlands. The itinerary foresees to visit Las Lancitas Provincial Reserve and the well-known Eco-Portal de Piedra Private Reserve, as well. These two incredible ecoregions, the Yungas and the dry Chaco together, hold among half Argentina’s bird diversity. Excellent opportunities for nature photography.
